CashApp Casinos
The US-focused mobile wallet Cash App appeared just around the same time when many US states started showing interest in online gambling. As such, it was an instant hit across the online gambling industry, getting offered across more and more newly-regulated US online gambling markets. The fact that it is really effortless to use and safe is what made it the top choice for many US players. They use it not only for online casino deposits and withdrawals but also for all kinds of digital payments and purchases. Even though it used to be offered in several other countries, the US is its primary market, and that's why all of its services are so convenient for US users. If one, make sure you stay with us to learn how to get started with it and use this solution across online casinos. What is Cash App and why choose to use it across US online casinos?
About Cash App
As introduced, Cash App is a mobile wallet that emerged under a different name, Square Cash, around the same time many US states started regulating online gambling, in 2013. Initially, it was a person-to-person money transfer service, launched and led by a renowned US company, Block Inc. As the company saw how popular the service was with US users, it made sure to expand its scope and added several other services to its offering to support business transactions, before it rebranded in 2015, to Cash App.
In the six years that followed, the solution started tapping other markets and announced its strategic plans to expand across the world. It started offering its services to the United Kingdom, several EU countries, and Australia. However this global expansion proved to be a wrong step for the company, which eventually ceased its operations in the EU in 2023, and the UK and Australia in 2024. Therefore, it got back to its initial and now only market, the US. Users from other countries cannot access it, nor its official website, as Cash App is now exclusively offered in the US.
Now, about the services you can use with it. Since this is a mobile wallet, as implied by its name, it offers an app for you to download to access its services. Among them, you have the option to send, receive, and save money, stocks, and even Bitcoin, file taxes, access your debit card, and apply for personal loans. You can learn everything you need to know about its savings account, the app and other features on its official website, which is loaded with useful information. But of course, if you follow our lead, we offer a shortcut to the getting started procedure and we take you through the steps to take to start using it across online casinos.
On that note, you should know that it is an option for deposits and withdrawals across a decent number of US online casinos, through MatchPay. You will find enough potential sites to explore and join, as Cash App is quite popular among US players and casino operators. The fact that it allows you to transact in your native currency, the US dollar, has greatly helped it, but since it has over 57 million registered US users, who use it daily for all kinds of online transactions, it was bound to be offered for online casino deposits and withdrawals, too. So, continue reading to find out how to start using it.
Getting Started with It
Cash App, as its name indicates, is a mobile wallet app, therefore, the first thing to do would be to download its app from Google Play or Apple App Store, depending on the device you’re using. You will need to register an account with it, so as soon as you install the app, provide your phone number or email to quickly complete the registration.
The next step is to pick a unique username referred to as cashtag, which you will use whenever receiving or sending money via the app. Next, you will get a secret code via SMS or email, to enter in the app, and confirm the registration.
Finally, it’s time to link a bank account to your wallet. You can do that by simply replicating your debit card info. To add cash to your account, you need to press the bank icon in the left bottom corner of the app and head over to the Banking tab. After you tap Add Cash and set the amount you wish to transfer from your bank account, tap Add. To start receiving/sending money, tap $ on the main screen, set the amount you wish to receive/send and tap Request/Pay to start searching for the email, cashtag, or phone number of the person you wish to get money from or send money to. Again, tap Request/Pay to complete your transaction request.
As soon as you do all of this, you can use your money for selling/buying stocks and Bitcoin, receiving and sending money, naturally, from and to friends, and paying for all kinds of things over the internet. If you wish, you can also apply for a VISA Debit card that will be connected to your Cash App account. No fees apply for it, and you can customize the way it looks by choosing the color, type, and design. Head over to the home screen, find the Card tab and press Get Free Card. You can use the card across 40,000 ATMs in the States to cash out money from it.
Now that you are fully equipped with information on how to get started with and use it, just simply login and you can start using your account for seamless deposits and withdrawals across online casinos. On that note, stay with us as in the next section, we’ll give you the steps you need to take to start making your online casino transactions with the solution.
How to Deposit with Cash App at an Online Casino?
It is not always easy to know how to choose a proper payment method to use across online casinos, but now that you know what you do about Cash App, it is probably easier for you to make the right decision and try it. You will see that it is among the recommended eWallets to use here at LCB, for many reasons you already learned about. So, all you have to do is find a nice US online casino and register an account with it, to start using this amazing mobile wallet app.
As soon as you do, press Join Us/Register on the casino’s official website, and fill out the registration form with the needed details. From here, to make a deposit with Cash App, take these easy steps:
- Enter the Banking/Payment Methods page as soon as you access your player account.
- Head over to the Deposits section and press the Cash App's logo.
- Access your app and press the $ button to set the amount you want to transfer.
- Enter the casino's email, phone number, or cashtag.
- Confirm the request by pressing Pay and watch the funds arriving in your balance immediately.
How to Make a Withdrawal with It?
As already pointed out, withdrawals with this amazing app are possible. Since you can both send and receive money through the app, you can use it for withdrawals across online casinos.
You just have to select the solution from the Withdrawals section, on the Banking/Payment Methods page, and then head over to your app to press Request. Set the amount you wish to receive and the casino’s cashtag, email or phone number, and send your request. As soon as the casino approves it, which can happen anytime in 24 to 48 hours, the funds will instantly arrive in your account.
Applicable Fees
When you start using the solution, you will notice no hidden fees. The solution is extremely transparent when it comes to fees, so you can rest assured that registration, debit card application, and monthly fees do not apply. No withdrawal fees for cashing out via the card apply either, nor overdraft fees.
Online casinos do not charge any fees for deposits and withdrawals with it either, therefore, you can rest assured that you will certainly get the most cost-efficient transactions with it.
Accepted & Restricted Countries
Currently, as mentioned earlier, Cash App operates only in the US. There were a few years when it tapped other markets, like the UK, Australia, and EU countries, but it stopped operating there in 2023 and 2024.
So, you must be a US citizen in order to be able to access its services. If you’re a player from any other country, you won’t be able to do so, or download its app or access its official website.
Available Currencies
The only supported currency is the US dollar, of course, given how the solution is only offered in the US currently.
But, as mentioned, you can sell and buy Bitcoin via your app, therefore, BTC is also a currency option. Therefore, when you start looking for sites to join that accept it as a payment method, make sure you also check whether these sites offer USD or BTC so that you can play without having to pay any exchange fees.
Customer Service & Support Options
Registered users get a professional Customer Support team to assist them via chat or phone. You will need to go to the Support page and enter your phone number or email to get assistance. Or, head over to your app to initiate a chat with its agents. To get in touch with them via phone, call (800) 969-1940. The phone support is offered from 9 am to 7m ET every day of the week.
For any questions regarding deposits or withdrawals with it, you can also get in touch with your casino’s Support team, as they will, too, know how to help you out.

Then I don't know what happened but they started requiring you to buy like $100 worth of crypto to be able to send or something like that which was just ridiculous and then after a while I guess they thought I was money laundering or something just because I was playing at sites which was a violation of their terms and now I'm banned and can never get a cash-up account again so I wouldn't even use them for gambling because they will eventually catch you and Penn you

I often used Cashapp to fund my online casino accounts while using Bitcoin as my primary currency. Until Cashapp has made it almost impossible to withdraw BTC from online casino sites into my BTC wallet. I guess I do actually use Cashapp for funding most of my online accounts because I am able to send practically any amount of BTC to my casino account without having any minimum transaction amount such as PayPal having a minimum amount of $60-$70 BTC. Also, Cashapp seems to have a pretty fair fee amount associated with purchasing and sending BTC while not having any issues with the speed of the BTC delivery into my account, I don’t really use Cashapp to fund my DraftKings or FanDuel accounts because they don’t allow for withdrawals from those types of casinos into my Cashapp account.

CashApp is having a lot of trouble at the moment. Not only would I recommend you NOT use CashApp to deposit at any casino, you'd be doing yourself a favor to delete CashApp from your phone completely. Accounts are being frozen, people are losing money - this service is on the way out.
