EPS is an electronic payment method developed in Austria in 2001 by STUZZA, together with Austrian banks, the Ministry of Finance, and the Chief Information Office of the Austrian Government. Currently owned by the Wirecard group, the platform was quickly accepted as a reliable and safe solution for purchasing and paying for goods on the internet. Over 2 million Austrian bank account holders use this debit card for daily web shopping needs. It was created as an equivalent to the Netherlands' iDEAL, and functions quite similarly as well, enabling around the clock, secure and comfortable transactions from a user's own bank.

How Does EPS Work

For the purposes of online casino transactions, EPS can be used to deposit funds at Austria-facing operators who accept this e-banking method.
