Western Union Casinos
Western Union is a global money transfer solution servicing more than 200 countries in over 130 currencies. It’s been around for quite some time and its black and yellow logo is recognized by people all over the world. Send/receive cash services will vary based on your location, whether you can walk up to an agent or send money online. Conveniently, transactions may be done in person, by phone, via the website or by downloading the app.

How does WU work?
Sending and receiving money is made easy using WU.
Sending cash: Visit an authorized agent to send money to a recipient almost anywhere in the world. Cant’ get to an agent location? Download the app, register online or make a phone transfer.
Recipient information you’ll need to send a money transfer:
- Bank details (if sending to a bank account)
- Name
- Address
- Phone number
Initiate a transfer using cash, a bank account or credit/debit card. Identification and verification processes will require a valid ID and online transfers are subject to a review process when making your first transfer. Please note that these procedures may vary based on where you live. For the rules pertaining to your country, please visit the WU site for your region. Money transfers over certain amounts may also be flagged as a fraud risk. In January 2017, WU was fined by the US Department of Justice as it failed to observe US government reporting requirements.
Agent pick-up will require a code that the sender will pass on to the recipient, however, every transaction will be associated with a specific code.

Receiving cash: The sender will specify how the money is to be transferred. This may be in cash to an agent, which will require you to personally retrieve it, a transfer to your bank account, direct to the mobile app or loaded onto a pre-paid card. How quickly you receive the money will depend on this. Agent pick-up makes the cash available immediately, while crediting your bank account may take a couple of business days to process.

My very first BTC purchase was via western union and I still have the original paper receipt from that transaction 10yrs+ later. However I can’t really imagine using it as a deposit method for online casinos given the not exactly favourable exchange rates I imagine are still the norm when purchasing crypto via wester & I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a casino which offers Western Union as a deposit option, but I’m just one person and can’t say that it’s 100% unheard of however if it were available on any of the casinos I play on I don’t exactly think I would remotely consider it as an option to deposit

I had one transaction that got delayed a little, but customer support helped eventually. Overall, it’s reliable if you need to send money quickly, just make sure you double check the fees before sending so you don’t get surprised by how much it costs.

Like Moneygram, they offer basically the same services, and they too can be purchased at Walmart stores for a small fee. I remember using Western Union to send money back when there were no smart phones because it seemed like a better idea than just stuffing cash in an envelope for the U..S. mail to deliver in a week and hoping for the best. Man how far we have come....
Show morei used to use western unionlot specially after they had online services but because im jordainan iving in chile and my id was expired they stopped accpeting my jordanian passport and blocked my account i have been tryin go tactivate it for over a year and havent had success
I get my withdrawals from one casino with this payment method. And like others have said it's pretty slow. Few days before you see it. Would prefer others that are almost instant

Show moreI don't use Western Union for online gambling because its transaction process is too slow and cumbersome. The manual verifications and high fees mess with my betting flow, and many casinos simply don't support it. I need a method that delivers instant deposits every time.
I used Western Union a couple of times and it was before crypto was widely accepted. Too wasn't the slowest. It was actually a bit fast. It's just the hassle of actually going to somewhere I to send it off. I did do it online once send it wasn't too bad. The fees were a little high but I really couldn't complain

I’ve been using Western Union for my online casino banking, and it’s been quite a unique experience! I appreciate the flexibility it offers, especially for deposits. Sending money is straightforward, and I love that I can do it in person or online. However, I did notice that withdrawals can take a bit longer, which can be frustrating when I'm eager to cash out. Still, it feels safe and reliable for me. Overall, I’d recommend it for those who value convenience and accessibility!
Show moreMy personal experience with Western Union is more along the poor side. Took almost three weeks for my payment to arrive and the customer service was just straight up trash. Safe to say i will never use this service again and anyone thinking of trying it should just look harder for a different route.
