After reading much positive rewies from other lcb users i decided to take a try on them. The Amaya games are currently quite rare online and some are definitely worth a look! Many have extremely good looking paytables, which initially made me a tad suspicious - I thought the name sounded familiar though and a quick google revealed why - Amaya is the company that just bought PokerStars! I had no problems getting verified and making a small withdrawal back to Skrill, so all in all a positive gaming experience today, and a drastic improvement from my previous attempt.
