Overview

22bet once was a reputable place to place your bets, with somewhat of an emphasis on sports betting, but in recent times we’ve seen a huge accumulation of complaints from many players around the world.

The venue is owned and operated by a company called Marikit Holdings Ltd, which is headquartered in Cyprus. Supposedly the casino operates under a licence issued in Curacao, but considering what’ve seen and heard lately we really find it hard to believe that these guys run their business in an honest way.

Yes…

…there are people waiting for more than two months to get paid out here!

Integrity/Trustworthiness

Obviously not the two words we’d use to describe how the casino treats their customers. Let’s begin with the fact that the chat support simply doesn’t work. When we tried clicking on the window to try and talk to a customer support representative, we were informed that it doesn’t work, in Russian language!

If you stumble upon an issue here, you’re left out to the mercy of emails and pointless forms, the slowest means of communication known to man living in these digital times. If these actually reach the casino staff, it is still questionable whether you will get ANY response from them…

Also, what should you think of a casino that has country restrictions in their terms & conditions written out in a font so small it’s barely readable, and then still featuring those same countries in the language and sign up options?

They could’ve at least include some simplest form of geo-block that would prevent punters from restricted countries to actually register, sign up, place bets, play games, score some cash and only then get informed that their winnings are voided due to a T&C breach.

Besides the above-mentioned issues, the biggest one has to do with unpaid winnings

We always try to keep in touch with all our fellow LCB’ers and hear what they have to say, especially if they wish to share some of their experiences with other players.

According to some of the complaints found on our forum, their customer support is mediocre at best, and when it comes time to pay customers out, they will try numerous sneaky methods just to avoid doing so. 

The issues with unpaid winnings persist for years, continuing well into 2020 with multiple unresolved complaints from customers. 

To avoid paying out...

...the casino delays responses and has players running around in circles, requesting document upon document, screenshots of deposit history, or otherwise moving goalposts so that players can never quite complete the cash-out requirements. 

In addition, the casino management and representatives have flat out refused to cooperate with LCB in order to resolve the complaints, even though they have initially agreed to do so, in writing and verbally. 

Also this:

Another LCB’er got accused of using multiple accounts before they’ve switched to another method of not paying him out, which actually prompted our actions of putting the casino on our warning list.

Conclusion

All things considered, this is shocking stuff and we are certainly outraged by the way 22bet runs their business and treats their customers.

The casino remains aloof and unbothered by this grim situation of their own making, and their increasingly bad reputation among players and industry affiliates.

As we’re always trying to make it right for the players, we sincerely hope they will take these matters seriously and do everything in their power to make it back into the decent world of gambling, based on trust and respect.

Until then, we strongly suggest you avoid 22Bet and try your luck someplace else.
