La Cabana All-Suite Beach Resort & Casino

Oranjestad, from the Dutch, (or Orangetown in English) is the capital and largest city in Aruba. There are plenty of dining options both in town and at the resort. The Captain’s Table provides both international and traditional dishes. The Islander Grill offers comfort foods and light snacks in an outdoor surrounding. Las Ramblas serves authentic Spanish fare under an open sky. E Piscado Restaurant is where you go, if you’re looking for seafood, with its menu items like conch chowder and lobster thermidor. For sushi and other other Japanese cuisine, head to O-Sushi-Mi, in the lobby. For pizza and pasta, choose the aptly named Pizza and Pastabilities. You can opt to find your own quaint restaurant in town that best aligns with your budget and sample authentic Caribbean cuisine.

Entertainment/Nightlife

If you’re in Aruba, there’s simply no excuse to be bored, with its bars, clubs, restaurants, shopping, activities, casino and beaches. For live entertainment try Glitz Casino, Thursdays to Saturdays or hit up any one of the bars and clubs in town. Use your days taking part in any number of water sports like swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving and deep-sea fishing. Use the resort resources like the tennis, squash and racquetball courts, aerobics classes or fitness centre. Spend some time pampering yourself in the spa getting facials or massages. Book a glass-bottom boat tour or a session of horseback riding. Hit the malls and markets haggling for souvenirs to bring back home.
