Hotel/Accommodations

Stay in one of 368 luxury rooms at the Occidental Grand Aruba, sporting king or 2 double beds. Rooms come equipped with wi-fi and satellite tv, and guests can enjoy unlimited meals, snacks and beverages with their stay. Rooms come with either terrace or balcony. The resort boasts 6 restaurants, 4 bars and a disco. Members of the Royal Club can experience in-room dining. Facilities, amenities and services include 2 whirlpools, a fitness centre and tennis, pool and a grand ballroom. There's a business centre and conference rooms.

Dining

The resort has its own 6 restaurants so you’re pretty much guaranteed to find whatever it is you’re craving. L’Olio serves up Italian cuisine with their dinners at 6 pm running to 10 pm. El Olvido brings you a la carte Mexican dining, 6-10 as well. Desire brings you authentic Caribbean cuisine, fused with international flair. Dinners: 6:30 pm until 10 pm. The Palm offers international buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Light snack can be found at the Beach Club, open daily from noon until 5:30 pm.

Entertainment/Nightlife

All-inclusive activities at the resort include land and water sports such as water aerobics, sailing, snorkeling, kayaking, volleyball and tennis. If traveling with family, ask about the Kid’s Club and its supervised activities. Keep an eye out for nightly shows. Ask resort staff what’s on their ever-active schedule. Head to one of the beaches for some sunning, swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving, or simply stroll along the shore. Consider a nice, romantic, midnight moonlit walk. Spend time poolside, hang out at the hotel’s bars or disco, or pop into town to soak up some regional culture as you listen to locals speaking in English, Spanish, Dutch and their native Papiamento. Other options include taking scuba lessons, playing a round of golf, water-skiing, parasailing, deep-sea fishing, getting private tennis lessons, or pampering yourself with a massage. Resort bars include Splash Bar, Bikini Beach Bar, Cocktail Bar and Sound Lounge.
