For dancing or karaoke, stroll over to Bull Blood, the Kamikaze Club, Notre Dame or Madero Pub. Santino Bar e Cucina has live entertainment on the weekend, as well as serving Italian food. If you’re looking for monuments, over in the main square there’s one to Hernando de Magallanes, or several blocks over, the Shepherd’s monument. There are several museums like the Maggiorino Borgatello Museum, the Museo del Recuerdo and the Nao Victoria Museum. For a bit of history, swing by the Punta Arenas Cemetery, dating back to the 1840’s. Learn about beer production while enjoying a sample or two at the Austral Brewery, the world’s southernmost brewery. To just take in the city, head to La Cruz Hill with its panoramic view of the area.
