Enjoy Vina del Mar - Casino & Resort

Translated to mean ‘vineyard by the sea’, Vina del Mar is the 3rd largest city in Chile. It’s also been referred to as La Ciudad Jardin – the garden city. Relax in some of the green areas with a picnic lunch or checking out the music festival in the amphitheatre. The city draws tourists primarily for its white sand beaches but there are several things to do while here aside from the recreational water activities. If you’re interested in museums, check out Artequin Museum, the Palacio Vergara whiches houses a fine arts museum, the Fonk Museum, and the Museum of Naval Cannons. For 5 star dining with Italian/Mediterranean meals, try La Barquera, overlooking the North Bay. Dine poolside at Mirador with such menu items as sushi, pasta and sandwiches. Make reservations for a special Friday or Saturday romantic dinner. If you’re looking for a bit more bang for your buck, try Bingo & Buffet, with lunch buffets Monday through Thursday and grilled meat dinners Friday to Sunday. International cuisine is served up at Savinya Restaurant with its seafood and fine meats.

Attractions/NightLife

For live entertainment you needn’t go much further than the casino. But if you’re interested in kicking off your heels and dancing to loud music head over to OVO Discotheque, with its themed nights and surprise events and give-aways. For outdoor events head over to the Quinta Vergara (an outdoor green area and amphitheatre) which hosts the Vina del Mar International Song Festival. For more arts, try The Municipal Theatre at the Plaza de Vina. Spend days indoors poolside or outdoors on the white sand beaches sunning and swimming.
