Casino & Hotel Zephyr

The name of the place may put you off but actually, Plovanija has an excellent location. Hotel Zephyr is just 3km away from Slovenian border and 25 km from the Italian one. This means you can have trip to Trieste, a lovely Italian port-city, have lunch do some shopping and be back before dinner. You can also visit Venice which is just across the bay. A lovely Kanegra beach is 7,5 km away from the site, and features an abundance of fun activities. Located far in the countryside, Hotel Zephyr offers an active vacation filled with hunting, cycling, walking and golf playing.

Zephyr is a small hotel so naturally it has an even smaller casino bearing the same name. But this doesn't take away the fun; you still have a choice in 10 different slot machines created by IGT, Novomatic and Euromatic. There’s an Electronic Roulette Table and an American one. There’s not a lot of entertainment and nightlife in this neck of the woods. You will have to venture out in search of it, but knowing the hotel is surrounded with medieval villages, good luck with that!
