For Thai food specifically, head to Lai Thai, with its silk hangings and gold-leaf accents. Syrian and Lebanese cuisine are dished up in Aura, located on the 4th floor, with indoor and outdoor dining. For lighter fare, choose La Gourmandise with its French brasserie. Tour into town and find your own new favourite eatery serving authentic Egyptian cuisine.

Entertainment/Nightlife

Light snacks and your favourite cocktails can be found at the Tea Lounge, as well as at the Library Bar, also with a cigar-smoking room. If in Giza, you’d certainly want to check out the Giza pyramids and the Sphinx. Ask hotel staff about arranging tours or arrange your own cab or camel rides. If you’re with the kids, head on over to Magic Land, the Giza Zoo and the Pharaonic Village. For religious sites, there’s Al-Azhar Mosque and the Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha. For parks, there’s several such as Hadiqat Al Orman and the Cairo Botanical Gardens. Museums include the Coptic Museum and the Egyptian museum. If you’re looking to shop and pick up souvenirs head to Khan El Khalily. Other notable attractions include Cairo Tower and Abdeen Palace.
