During the day, stroll through any one of several local parks like the Cairo Botanical Gardens, Hadiqat Al Orman or Al Azhar Park. If touring with family, head to the Giza Zoo, the oldest on the African continent, the amusement park Magic Land or the Pharaonic village. Swing by the Coptic Museum or the Egyptian Museum or the mosques like the Al-Azhar Mosque or the Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha. Take tours of major attractions like the Pyramids of Giza or the Great Sphinx or lesser attractions like Abdeen Palace and the Cairo Towers. Spend an afternoon shopping and haggling for souvenirs in the bazaar Khan El Khalily.
