Casino Barrier Benodet

Benodet is a commune in France in the department of Finistere and the region of Bretagne, along the Atlantic Ocean. Locals are called Benedetois. If you come during the summer to hang out sea-side, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for various organized events such as the Summer Festival held each Friday night, the Obelix Trophy (May), a yachting race, and the Extravaganza from Benodet, held in mid-August, with its free concerts and fireworks. Other areas of interest would be the Seaside Museum, several interesting buildings dating back to the 1800s, and the Menhir of Poulquer, remnants of a megalithic monument. Watch for local festivals, especially around the summer months. The Obelix Trophy occurs during May, with its 200-plus yachts over a 4 day race, the Rendez-Vous de la Belle Plaisance, a sailing regatta in August, the Summer Festival held each Friday, and the Extravaganza from Benodet, held in August, with its fireworks and free concerts.
