Casino de Bourbonne les Bains

Bourbon-les-Bains is a French commune in the department of Haute-Marine in the region of Champagne-Ardenne. The resort town provides many resort-like activities, not the least of which stem from the hot springs in the area. Dine in the casino restaurant Capuchins, with its wooden terrace opening out onto the gardens of the spa park. The restaurant is open daily for lunches and dinners, serving contemporary cuisine made from the finest local produce. Other venues include Herard, just 0.2 km from the casino, and Restaurant Orfeuil, serving traditional cuisine. The hotel has a restaurant on site, but be sure to ask about hours and seasonal operation.

Attractions/NightLife

Enjoy your favourite drinks indoors or out on the terrace in Ber des Thermes. Like watching the game? Try Café Sports. There’s also Bar du commerce, or while downtown, look for Downtown Bar Tabac. Watch for Theatre Festival Country Langes held in the spring. Take the kids to the animal park, with its deer, wild boar, rabbits and ducks, or admire the flora in the Arboretum de Montmorency, with its 250 different species of tree and shrub. Park City Hall, site of the old castle, overlooks the Apance Valley and has a small garden. For religious sites, there’s the Notre-Dame-en-Assumption, with construction dating back to the 12th century, and the Church of Villars-Saint-Marcellin, going back to the 11th century. In the latter, the crypt has been designated a historical monument. Other areas of interest include the clock tower, the thermal springs, and relics from the Gallo-Roman days found in the spa.
