Casino de Challes-les-Eaux

This gaming facility was originally built in 1883 and is located in Challes-les-Eaux, France. The facility that stands today is virtually identical to the original structure, outside of two large wooden stairs which served as a point of access, just left of the first floor gallery. The space holds much history. Another unique fact about this facility is that it actually served as a reception center for Polish refugees and later as a care center for German troops in 1944. The current owners took control of the space in 1987. Today it houses a nice selection of gaming, including both Slots and Table Games. The establishment is large enough to accommodate up to 160 guests, but remains quaint and comfortable so that you won’t feel overwhelmed by large crowds. It’s just the right size! Guests will also have access to a restaurant on site as well as beautiful outdoor scenery, including lush gardens and fountains.

Gaming

Both Slots and Table Games are available on site. Like most French casinos, they cater more heavily to the Slot players. There are 75 machines to choose from. This may not sound like a lot to you, but it’s fairly common in France. You’ll still be able to select from an assortment of traditional reel games, Video Slots and Video Poker machines. In addition, games are offered in a variety of denominations in order to suit various budget types. Plenty of the classic titles as well as some of the newer, more popular titles can be found. There is no hotel on the property. However, guest can conveniently stay at one of the many hotels located within the area if they wish to spend the night in town. Dining

Guests can look forward to Le Castel Gourmand, the sole restaurant on site. The restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday and offers a variety of a la carte-style dishes that are sure to please any palette. The layout looks like a quaint, yet upscale café, offering a great chance to take in great French culture and cuisine.
