Casino Ruhl Nice

Located in the south-east of France, Nice is part of the department of Alpes-Maritimes and is in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur. Both French and Italian cuisine are on the menu in La Dolce Vita Restaurant. Look for dishes like candied artichokes, roast veal, and seafood risotto. For fine dining, try L’Aromate. Lamb and couscous among other items are served in La Casbah. Le Rolancy’s is ideal for seafood. For comfortable family environs, try Flaveur. Back at the hotel, there’s La Terrasse, the roof-top restaurant, and Le Colonial Café. In the casino, there’s American Café, with its weekly dinner shows.

Attractions/NightLife

Look for live dinner shows in American Café. In town, head to Coffee Turin, located in Piazza Garibaldi, dating back to 1860. L’Effervescence is a local champagne bar. You can find it in Old Town. Their happy hour runs from 6-7:30 pm. Other venues include High Club/Studio 47 (two clubs in one), Les Smarties, a cocktail bar, Baroque Bar, a jazz club, and Le Staccato, also a jazz club. In February, look for the Nice Carnival. In July, there’s the Nice Jazz Festival. Museums include the National Museum of the Marc Chagall Biblical Message, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Matisse Museum. Other attractions include the Palais Lacaris, Mont Boron, the prehistoric cave of Lazaretto, Castle Hill, the Nice Opera House, the Promenade des Anglais and the Castle of Bellet.
