Saint-Maxime is a commune in France in the department of Var and the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur. The town is popular among tourists for its charm and mild climate. Check out the castle turrets, dating back to 1883. Square Tower, going back to the 16th century, houses the Museum of Sainte-Maxime. Other attractions include the local semaphore, standing at 127 m high, and the port.
