Casino JOA De Santenay

Santenay (officially Santenay-les-Bains) is a French commune in the department of Cote-d’Or and the region of Bourgogne. If you’re a fan, particularly red, try one of the regional brands. Dine in the modern bistro Counter JOA, open daily from noon to 2 pm and 7 pm until 10 pm (10:30 pm Fridays and Saturdays). Located in the centre of town you can find Le Terroir, serving regional cuisine. By the canal, there’s L’Escale, a comfortable inn and popular stop during the wine tour. Look for gourmet meals in Le Chassagne, about 4 km out.

Attractions/NightLife

Find all your favourite cocktails in JOA Le Bar, inside the casino. Or in town, try La Cave A Bieres. During days take leisurely strolls along the canal or soaking up local architecture. Take a local wine tour. Visit various cellars and vineyards and sample some regional wines. Consider bringing a bottle back home for yourself, friends or family. Ask back at the hotel for aid in arranging a wine tour, or for tours of the local cheese dairy and castles. For religious sites, there’s the Church of St John of Narosse.
