When you want Creole cuisine, there’s Papaye with Asian and European inspired fusion.

Attractions/NightLife

Head to the open-air club Djambala, also with live music or Latin music courtesy of the orchestra over at XTreme. You can also hang at the La Terrasse Bar and Restaurant in the hotel. Sports enthusiasts may want to check out a soccer match over at the Sylvio Cator Stadium. For popular local attractions, try the National Palace. Sadly levelled during the earthquake, the site is still visited by locals and tourists. Near here, you can also find the Our Lady of the Assumption Cathedral, largest in Haiti. To travel through the history of the region there’s the Musee du Pantheon National Haitien. When looking to meet all your shopping needs such as picking up cool souvenirs to take back home, there’s the Iron Market (Marche de Fer). This hectic area with its busy stalls sells everything from trinkets and crafts to live animals.
