Royal Haitian Hotel and Casino

Attractions/NightLife

When the sun goes down it’s time to hit the clubs. Djumbala provides live music in its open-air club, while over at XTreme you can listen to the big-band orchestra. Sports fans can catch a soccer match over in the Sylvio Cator Stadium, also home to Racing Club Hatien and Violette Athletic. During days, trek through the capital city visiting the local attractions, like the National Palace. Though the building was terribly hit during the earthquake, it is still a popular site for both tourists and locals. Near here you can find the Our Lady of the Assumption, Haiti’s largest cathedral. To walk through Haiti’s history, check out the Musee du Pantheon National, and for culture there’s the Musee d’Art Haitien. When it’s time to go pick up all your souvenirs head to the Marche de Fer (the Iron Market). This busy market has a pretty much a bit of everything from trinkets and crafts to live animals. Expect to be jostled.
