Goldfinger Casino - Cidade de Goa

Open 24 hours daily, Goldfinger Casino is conveniently located inside Cidade de Goa Resort. It is located a mere ten minutes from the capital city of Panjim. The facility boasts a quaint gaming area, a number of luxurious amenities, standard rooms & suites, and an unbelievable view of the Arabian Sea. Also on site is a series of restaurants, with casual and upscale options, along with two bars, and plenty of opportunities for live music and entertainment. Visitors may relax by the swimming pool or in the onsite spa or sauna. Nearby attractions include Dudhsagar Falls, Fort Aguada, Se Cathedral, and others.

Gaming

The casino on site is clearly not the main attraction with only a limited amount of games available. The gaming area includes basic offerings, such as a couple of slot games, and standard table games like, roulette, blackjack, and baccarat. Unfortunately, there is not much else to look forward to in the way of gaming, but the casino does make mention of a rewards scheme of some kind, in which visitors can play in exchange for DISCOUNTED food and beverages.

Hotel Accommodations

The hotel is equipped with spacious rooms and suites, many of which provide outstanding views of the water. The rooms boast chic décor, and feature a maximum capacity of 2 adults and 2 children in standard rooms. Amenities include satellite TV, central air conditioning, telephone, high-speed wired AND wireless internet access. Mini bar, laundry and 24-hour room services are also available for an additional charge.

Dining

A total of five dining options can be found on site. Alfama is a romantic, upscale restaurant, offering up authentic dishes, and LIVE MUSIC nearly every night of the week. For a breathtaking view as you dine, Barbeque is the place to go. A number of tables line a view of the Arabian Sea, further framed by palm trees. The menu specializes in meats, vegetables, and fresh seafood. For a quick bite while lounging by the pool, Café Azul is the answer. Situated directly in front of the pool, with floor-to-ceiling windows, visitors can look forward to North Indian, East Asian, and Italian dishes. Other dining options include Laranja, and Docaria, a seafood eatery, and Portuguese café.

Entertainment/Nightlife

There are two bars located on the property. The first is the Taverna lobby bar. It is considered an award-winning spot in Goa, featuring 70s-inspired décor. Live entertainment is available EVERY single night, and happy hour specials are available, offering up food and beverage discounts. A variety of delicious cocktails can be concocted by talented bartenders. The space also provides a stunning view of the Arabian Sea. Bar Latino serves as a poolside space. Not only will you find a beautiful view of the pool, but the sea in the distance as well. The open-air space provides the ideal atmosphere for enjoying tropical cocktails.
