The Golden Key Casino

Located in Mombasa, Kenya’s second largest city with its million plus people, in the Tamarind Village is the Golden Key Casino. The Tamarind Village has 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments set in a beautiful outdoor garden surrounding. Guests can prepare their own meals in their kitchens or choose to eat at the restaurant. In the village you can find 2 pools, a Jacuzzi, a fitness centre, a therapy room and squash courts. Ask about their deep-sea expeditions. The village is 10 minutes from downtown Mombasa.

Dining

Dine on the terrace at Tamarind Village at the restaurant and choose from menu items with selections from several different cuisines such as French, Asian and African. Items of interest are prawns, crab and lobster as the menu has a heavy seafood slant. The restaurant can seat 120 and is a popular venue for both tourists and locals. For the budget-savvy, ask casino staff about other popular eateries nearby dishing up authentic Kenyan cuisine.

Attractions/NightLife

Hang back at the village taking advantage of the facilities or trek to the ocean front for water activities like deep-sea fishing, wind surfing and scuba diving. For drinks, dancing and cabaret shows there’s Bora Bora Night Club. For day trips, take a hike through the Bamburi Nature Trail or head into Old Town or visit Old Port.
