Waldo Hotel was the first boutique hotel in Macau and underwent some remodeling in 2008. The Grand Waldo Casino is run by the Galaxy Entertainment Group and opened in 2004. There are restaurants in the hotel featuring international and local cuisine. Customer service is important to the staff, who make sure that guest are comfortable and have a memorable experience.

Gaming

The Grand Waldo Casino floor extends over the rear lobby, mezzanine, 1st, 3rd and 5th floors of the Waldo Hotel. The décor is very elegant with gold from one end to the other. The casino offers a variety of Table Games which includes Blackjack, Baccarat, Chinese Domino, Sic Bo and Pai Gow. There are no Slot Games available so this place is a tables only establishment.

Hotel/Accommodations

Waldo Hotel features just over 160 rooms including Superior, Executive, Deluxe and suites including Superior, Executive, Deluxe, Grand and Waldo across ten floors. Even the most basic of rooms offers luxurious surroundings. Hotel Guests receive free shuttle service to and from the Macau Airport as well as free rides from the HK-Macao Ferry Terminals.

Dining

Hotel guests have a couple of dining options available without having to leave the hotel. They are conveniently located and serve both local and international dishes. Prince Seafood Restaurant is a modern environment serving modern Chinese cuisine with a few twists. Global Cuisine was designed after western influence and offers an elegant dining experience.

Entertainment/Nightlife

The Waldo does not offer much in terms of entertainment. If you’re a thrill seeker, the extent of the thrills reaches as far as the gaming floor. Visitors can find the occasional live band playing but it’s not necessarily the “entertainment” that guests seek. There is also a bar where you can enjoy beer and cocktails at a slightly higher price tag. You can find shopping if you leave the hotel and perhaps checking out another casino would present more opportunities to take in shows etc.
