Altira Macau

Altira was previously known as Crown Hotel. With its location in the heart of Taipa, guests have views of the Macau Peninsula. The building is grand with 38 stories filled with restaurants, clubs and even an award winning spa. Altira is run by Melco Crown Entertainment Limited (Melco Crown Entertainment) who operates entertainment and resort facilities throughout Macau. Altira is the company’s first property to open its doors on May 12, 2007. Melco Crown is also known for its other resort, City of Dreams, located in Cotai, Macau.

Gaming

There are two gaming areas including the Altira Casino and Mocha. In Altira you’ll find a range of Table Games including Baccarat, Blackjack, Caribbean Stub, Roulette and Sic Bo. Keep in mind that table limits may be a bit high so if you’re looking for lower limit action, you may not find it here. Now, if you’re looking for Slots, Mocha is the place where you’ll find over 100 electronic gaming machines including Baccarat and Roulette. Denominations vary to suit any bankroll on Slots with higher minimum bets on electronic Table Games.

Hotel/Accommodations

Guests are in for some amazing panoramic views and a 5-star experience. Altira is the 5 time winner of the Forbes Five-Star Hotel and Spa Awards. Not every room has a view of the water so keep that in mind when booking. Accommodation options include Villas, Premier Suites, Corner Suites and Waterfront View rooms.
