Dragonara Casino

The Dragonara Palace was originally built in 1870 as the summer home of Marquis Scicluna before opening as a casino in July 1964. The Dragonara Casino, which also operates an online casino, has fifty years of experience in the gambling business after earning a title as Malta’s premier casino. The building of the casino was one of the initial projects that drew tourists to Malta. Dragonara Gaming Limited eventually acquired the casino in June 2010 and since then, the company has put millions into the casino including remodeling and various improvements. A project is also underway to create an international poker room, private gaming, suites for highrollers and additional parking. Each day the casino attracts approximately 1,000 gamblers and maintains a staff of 200.
