Both tourists and business travellers frequent Martinique, the former for its white sand beaches and various activities and Trois-Ilets, birthplace of Josephine, Empress of the French and wife of Napoleon, isn’t any different. For fine dining head to La Cocoteraie, located on the beach. If you’re interested in breakfast and dinner buffets, you want La Capitane. Dishes are regional. Ask about their themed dinners. Also with live entertainment. Creole cuisine can be found in La Case Creole. Ask casino and hotel staff about further dining options and recommendations on venues in town and sample the best Martinique has to offer.

Those interested in outdoor activities won’t find the area lacking. Hit one of the beaches for any number of water sports like sailing, swimming, scuba diving, snorkelling, deep-sea fishing and kayaking. There’s also various land activities to be found like horseback riding, hiking, and golf. Check out some of the local attractions to get a feel for the region. These include the Pottery Village, the Museum of Coffee and Cocoa, the Pagerie Museum and the La Savanne des Esclaves. For something a bit more relaxed, you can always hang pool-side back at the hotel as you sip on your favourite cocktails or swim and sun on their private beach.
