Casino Yak 8 Acapulco

Acapulco, officially Acapulco de Juarez, is a city in the Mexican state of Guerrero. It’s a major sea port for the area, but you probably know it mostly as a tourist mecca. People come here in droves for holiday, especially those seeking fun and sun and everything beach-related. It’s also a prime destination for cruise ships. The city of Acapulco added the ‘de Juarez’ in 1885 in honour of former president Benito Juarez.

Attractions/NightLife

It’s Acapulco – night life here is practically a way of life. There’s untold bars and clubs around. El Alebrije boasts being able to house 5000-plus patrons. The Palladium, Mandara and Baby O’s are other clubs in the area. For even more options, try along La Costera. Beaches are a must. Try Isla de la Roqueta, Puerto Marquez, or Pie de la Cuesta’s Playa Luces. Participate in any number of water activities like sunning, swimming, snorkelling, fishing, scuba diving and sailing. Consider taking a glass-bottom boat tour or going cliff-diving. Local attractions include the museums Casa de la Mascara or the Dolores Olmedo House. In the zocalo (main square) there’s the Neustra Senora de la Soledad cathedral, and east of the square, the San Diego Fort, built back in 1616. Bring the family to the Centro Internacional de Convivencia Infantial, an aquatic park with wave pools, water slides and dolphin shows. If you’re a fan of golf, try a round at the Pierre Marques or the Acapulco Princess.
