Try around Barrio Antiguo for a selection of pubs and clubs. La Tumba has live music and soft tunes while Kokoloco is where you’d go for dancing. After hours, head to Skizzo Electroclub. Local festivals include the Livestock Fair and the Bella Via Festival. When looking for religious sites and architecture, there’s the 18th century Metropolitan Cathedral. The Faro de Comercio – Lighthouse of Commerce – sports a green lasrer that can be seen across the city. Over in Fundidora Park, there’s ice and roller skating as well as two museums; the Museum of Mexican History and the Museum of the Northwest. Check out some of the natural landscape and cool geographical features like the canyons, Matcanes, El Salto and Labertino. Swim below the Cola de Caballo (Horsetail) waterfall. Try sailing at the La Boca dam. There’s other activities like hiking and rock climbing to be found.
