Attractions/NightLife

When the sun sets and you want to go out dancing, head over to Los Arcos, La Bola (with live mariachi music), El Alebrije, Barbazul, Taizz (up-scale) and for beers and drinks try La Taurina and Crudalia. If you’re travelling during May look for the Feria de la Flor, the festival held in Borda Garden. Other festivals include the feast of San Isidro (May), the feast of San Antonio (June), the feast of Transfiguration, feast of San Lorenzo, the festival of the Assumption of Mary (all in August) and in September, the festival of Nuestra Senora de los Milagros. Local museums include the Museo Muros, the Museum of Traditional and Herbal Medicine, and the Robert Brady Museum. Attractions in or around the city worth visiting include Chapultepec Ecological Park (4 km outside the city), the Salto de San Anton (a ravine with waterfalls), El Castillito ( a museum and little castle), Borda Garden, and Juarez Garden. Religious sites include the Cuernavaca Cathedral, the Church of San Jose, the Church of Nuestra Senora de los Milagros de Tlatenango, and Chapitel del Calvario.
