Attractions/NightLife

There’s plenty of night life to be found in the bars and clubs. If you want live music, try Antropia Café Concert, with music ranging from jazz to rock. When you want to go out dancing, there’s Rio Latino or Studio. For bar-restaurant combos, try Johnny Gringo. Sometimes the best way to appreciate a city is to understand some of its history and culture. Good spots to try would be the Casa de Cultura Diego Rivera and the Museo de la Ciudad. If you’re interested in theatre, there’s the Teatro Doblado. For religious sites try the Templo Expiatorio (Santuario Expiatorio del Sangrado Corazon de Jesus, or Expiatory Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus) or the Basilica Cathedral of Our Holy Mother of the Light. Other attractions include the Heroes’ Causeway Arch (Arco de la Calzada de los Heroes) and the Municipal Palace, once a military barracks, now housing the monument Portal of the Millennium.
