18 km from Puerto Vallarta you can find the Hotel Riu Palace Pacifico. People are probably familiar with the name Puerto Vallarta – the resort city famous for its beaches and night life popular with young and old alike, as well as honeymooners. Attractions/NightLife

During days, head to one of the many beaches in the area and participate in any number of water based activities like swimming, scuba diving or snorkeling. Beaches include Playa Camorones (Shrimp Beach), Playa Olas Altas (High Waves Beach), Playa Boca de Tomates (Mouth of Tomatoes) and Playa Los Muertos). Local festivals include the Flower and Garden Festival, the Electro Beach Puerto Vallarta, May Festival, Dia de Muertos, and Los Posadas. Come sundown, head out for a bit of night life. Bars and clubs include La Regadera, Garbo Pinao Bar, CC Slaughters, El Torito, Bar Oceano and Club Roxy Rock House. You can also find several bars back at the hotel, including a pool bar, great for relaxing and sipping cocktails during the day. Local attractions include visiting the Marieta Islands, the Plaza de Armas, sometimes hosting public concerts, the Cuale Archaeoloical Museum and the Parish Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
