Mandalay

Located in upscale San Isidro you can find Casino Mandalay. They haven’t many games but are open 24 hours and make for a decent respite from a hard day traveling the city. Home to many Peruvian artists, there’s enough local entertainment to occupy travelers to the region, with its hotels, bars and cafes, galleries, restaurants, parks, gardens and shopping. Check out Huaca Huallamarca, a pyramid and burial site created by pre-Incan Hualla settlers dating back to the 4th century, also home to the Incans in the 15 century and the Ishma before them in the 11th century. Parque el Olivar, a national treasure, is also of interest, and the Casa Hacienda los Condes de San Isidro, a 300 year old colonial mansion.

Gaming

The casino runs 24 hours daily though only has a modest 135 gaming machines and one electronic roulette wheel. Consider the casino the rest area for some light gaming before heading back out on your whirlwind tour of the city.

You can opt to dine at the hotel in La Terraza Café (The Terrace Café) with its authentic Peruvian meals, open until 10:30 pm or walk about the city finding and choosing one of the many restaurants at your disposal. Swing by Casa Hacienda los Condes de San Isidro, a 300 yr old colonial mansion, with its chapel, cellar and catacombs or stroll through Parque el Olivar, a national park and monument. Huaca Huallamarca is a 4th century pre-Incan burial site worth touring.
