Dining

The Parachichi Restaurant overlooks the gardens and serves breakfasts, lunches and dinners consisting of local fare. Menu items include kuku choma and chips mayai. Dinners bring more international flavour with Asian, East African and Chinese cuisine from the a la carte menu. If you enjoy Indian food, you can request your favourite dish from the chef. The Hatari Bar also has a 24 hour menu for room service or light snacks all day.

Attractions/NightLife

Hang in the hotel pub enjoying your favourite cocktail. The Hatari Bar also serves light meals all day. Drinks after bar close can be ordered and enjoyed in your room or the upstairs lounge. Next to the pool, is Bustani Bar, where you can sip your drinks poolside from 10 am until 10 pm. If you’re keen on clubbing, there’s Saba Saba, Colobus Club, Blue Triple A and Velocity in town. The city is actually near many major attractions so you won’t have any problems filling your day. If you’re big on hiking there’s Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. For wildlife, check out Tarangire National Park or the Arusha National Park. There’s the great expanse of the Serengeti as well. For other cool geographical features, check out Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Olduvai Gorge. If you’re looking for museums there’s the National Natural History Museum and for monuments there’s the Uhuru monument, with a small nearby museum. If you’re traveling in August keep your eyes open for the Nane Nane Festival.
