To take in the outdoors head to Valsayn Park. If you enjoy bird watching, try the Asa Wright Nature Centre. For panoramic views, head up Mt. St. Benedict. Tour the city, trying various bars and clubs and decide on your own watering hole, or ask hotel staff for tips on the best places to frequent. For a better selection of attractions, consider visiting Port of Spain, certainly more tourist-friendly. Here there’s cultural centres, museums, and a broader array of bars, clubs and restaurants. Key destinations may be Argyle Falls, Fort King George, and the Tobago Forest Reserve. When going out nights, use discretion and common sense. Consider travelling in groups and keeping to well-lit areas. There's a seedy underside, so take necessary precautions and use due diligence.
