Hammamet is one of the oldest, and still popular tourist destinations for those visiting Tunisia. A big draw here are the stunning beaches and all the various activities associated with it, such as sunning and swimming to the more adventurous like snorkeling, jet-skiing and para-sailing. For those more inclined toward privacy, there's 2 pools at the hotel and even a private beach, if crowds aren't much your thing when you like sitting back and relaxing catching your rays. Being a tourist spot, you won’t have much of a problem finding accommodations nor things to do to fill your evenings, with the surplus of restaurants, bars and nightclubs. You’ll also enjoy the surrounding environment, as there are several note-worthy gardens and green areas in the region. Of course, there's always the casino for entertainment, when indoors out of the sun is called for.

The casino has a bit less to offer than some of its contemporaries, but there still should be just enough to satisfy the casual gambler. The casino has 75 classic and video slot machines and video poker terminals plus an additional 7 table games consisting of blackjack, stud poker and roulette. Hours of operation are daily 8 pm until 4 am, opening at 5 pm during the summer and on holidays. You can also find a restaurant on site.

Travelers can stay at the Royal and Sol Azur Grounds, which also happens to house the casino. Hang poolside at the hotel, enjoy their private beach or head to one of the beaches in town like Hammamet Beach or Bel Azur Beach. Activities include sunning, swimming, sailing, water-skiing, and surfing. You can also find motorized water-craft on site. Nearby, you can find activities like horseback-riding, fishing and golfing. When night rolls around, hit one the watering-holes in town or head to the Lobby Bar, American Bar or Beach Bar, all serving your favourite cocktails. If you really feel like spoiling yourself, take advantage of the full-service spa. For some history, visit Hammamet Fort. Fortess walls can still be seen throughout the city For local attractions there’s Sirens Statue. And when interested in shopping, try the Hammamet Souk.
