Black Sheep Inn & Casino

Blacksheep Casino is a modest poker room at 3000 Sq. Ft. featuring a Sports Bar and Grill as well small card room. They are conveniently located across from the Cameron Park Air Strip in the foothills of northern California and are one of the only poker rooms in the county. The players are mainly locals in this Table Games oasis of sorts although there is plenty of out of town traffic coming from the airport. The neighborhood casino makes this a perfect stop over for commuters.

Gaming

The poker room is only available Thursday through Sunday as there are special events often booked on other days. There are Sit-n-Goes, WSOP Qualifier Tournaments and more happening in the card room. Players can book special events and reserve the Poker Room. All games played at the tables are Texas Hold’em with $1 and $2 limits. The maximum tables on the property is 7 so this gives potential players an idea of how modest the card room is.

Hotel/Accommodations

Blacksheep offers a property for rent in Henderson, Nevada. The vacation home may be rented by the day or week. It features two bedrooms, pool, hot tub and a partial view of the strip. Although it may be a taste of luxury, it doesn’t help guests visiting the casino. There aren’t any accommodations on the property but there are a number of hotels in the area. When in Cameron, California consider: Quality Inn & Suites Cameron Park, Hampton Inn and Suites Folsom, Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites El Dorado Hills, Courtyard by Marriott Folsom Sacramento, Best Western Plus Placerville Inn and many more. Guests will need to arrange for transportation to and from the casino.

Dining

The casino offers full bar service and food. This is a small establishment but there’s just enough room for a sports bar and grill. Players can take a break, grab a taco and get right back to the gaming!

Entertainment/Nightlife

Aside from the obvious entertainment at the tables, the sports bar always has something happening. One thing to look out for is the celebrity bartender every Wednesday. A portion of all your tips are given to a local food bank. There’s no place better to enjoy NFL season than in the sports bar. Monday nights are filled with drink specials, raffles and football tosses! There is also a dart league, ladies night, pool tournaments, live music and Happy Hour!

Rewards/Deals

The Blacksheep Inn & Casino does not offer a rewards program for players but don’t let this discourage you. There is plenty of action and fun happening in the sports bar and at the tables.
