Johnny Nolon's Saloon & Gambling Emporium

This casino first opened its doors as Johnny Nolon’s in 1991 and has been flourishing ever since. It has a very unique history behind it. In the 1890s, a young pony express rider, by the name of Johnny Nolon had the idea of opening up a saloon and gambling hall in the height of the gold rush. He was a young a young man from Missouri with a great idea and a big heart. There are tales of his kindness and generosity, and over the years, the business has gone through names and changes but it still stands today. The casino is traditional and a bit on the smaller side, but it offers loose gaming and great odds at winning wads of cash! There is no hotel on site, but they are partnered with a nearby hotel for your convenience. There is one restaurant on the property.

Gaming

At Johnny Nolon’s, it’s all about the Slots! Lots of Video Poker can also be found. They are known to have some of the loosest machines around and they became even more loose in 2011 with a 26% overall increase. In this 5,850 square foot gaming space, they offer some of the hottest Progressives in all of Cripple Creek. There are so many to try for, you won’t know where to start. Their selection of machines consists of 250 games, including favorites like X Poker, Rome & Egypt, Wheel of Fortune and Tigers Eye. You’ll find a variety of the latest games, along with classic favorites. Hotel Accommodations

This casino does not offer a hotel on site, but they have paired up with the Cripple Creek Inn which is just a short distance away to provide you with convenient and affordable accommodations. The Cripple Creek Inn offers 47 comfortable rooms, with 1 or 2 Queen beds, satellite TV, a telephone, Wi-Fi internet access and a complimentary breakfast on the weekends. They also provide plenty of underground and street parking.

Dining

There is one restaurant on site, and it’s called Johnny’s Restaurant. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Food is available 24 hours a day and great deals are accessible. For seniors, if you present your Johnny Nolon’s Players Club Card and your AARP Card between 11:30am and 1:00pm on Mondays, lunch is free. They serve all kinds of class American diner dishes. Start out your day with and omelet or pancakes, and then for lunch, choose from a variety of sandwiches and burgers. For dinner, you can get anything from steak, to chicken, pasta and more. They also have an exclusive Late Night Menu with a mixture of breakfast, lunch and dinner items to suit every palette. This menu is available Friday and Saturday from 10pm to 12am.

Entertainment/Nightlife

After a long, action-packed day of gaming inside the casino, take a break at Johnny’s Restaurant.
