Gold Country Inn & Casino

Dubbing itself, "Elko's Coziest Casino," and with good reason, the Gold Country Inn & Casino combines country charm with enticing gaming offerings and customer service that is some of the finest you will find in the State of Nevada. This casino is housed in historic and picturesque Elko, Nevada which is known as being right along the California Trail and is the largest city for well over 100 miles. In addition to its RV Park, this property features a number of amenities suitable for all types of visitors and travelers including billiards, Elko tours assistance and shuttles to both the airport and the city.

Gaming

The Gold Country Inn & Casino used to feature three table games, all Blackjack, but it no longer has table games of any kind. The casino area is still home to 167 machines including slots, video poker and video keno. Despite its limited size, this casino features a few of the newest and most popular slots to be found anywhere in the country, with selections including Buffalo Xtreme Mystery, Wheel of Fortune and Avatar, among many others. As expected, the Video Poker and Video Keno features a wide variety of both games and denominations.

Hotel/Accommodations

The Gold Country Inn & Casino is a franchised property in partnership with America's Best Value Inn, which is one of the larger economy-priced hotel chains in the U.S. Guests of the hotel will enjoy free wireless internet, a business center, laundry, outdoor pool access and free shuttles to and from the airport. Handicap accessible and pet-friendly rooms are also available, but for those with pets, it is suggested that you call the hotel directly to make those arrangements. All of the rooms in this property feature flat-screen TV's and HBO as well as free local calls and a refrigerator and microwave. The rooms also have hair dryers, irons and ironing boards. The Deluxe King and Two Queen rooms features 32" LCD HDTV's and coffee makers and are available in smoking or non-smoking. The Premium Rooms (Non-Smoking Only) feature an upgraded 37" LCD HDTV and also come in Two Queen or King Rooms. Additionally, Premium Rooms features pillow-top mattresses. Two Queen Suites are the same as Two Queen Deluxe Rooms with the only difference being that they consist of two rooms, each with a 32" HDTV. There's also a handicap King/Queen version of this room and Handicap Two Queen version of this room which one must call directly to book. The Family Suites are pet-friendly and can accommodate up to eight occupants. They feature Two Queen beds in the main room and a Queen or King in a separate room and come in either smoking or non-smoking. Finally, Two-Queen Kitchenettes feature two pillow-top Queen beds, a full-size refrigerator and convection oven with either two or four stovetops as well as a dishwasher and full complement of cookware and eating utensils. These rooms are non-smoking only, and one must call directly to book.

Dining

JR's Bar & Grill is an aesthetically pleasing eatery that features a varied menu and excellent customer service. The food's great, too! In addition to the comfortable ambiance, there are seven big-screen HDTV's scattered about, a full bar area inside the restaurant and two pool tables. It is open all 365 and the hours are 5a-10p Su-Th and 5a-11p Fri & Sat.

Entertainment/Nightlife

There's no life entertainment here, but sister property, the Red Lion Hotel & Casino (across the street, basically) features live entertainment Tues-Sat.

Rewards/Deals

The Gold Country Inn & Casino features the redundantly named, but no less generous, Comps Plus+ Players Club Card. This is a four-tiered Player's Club program and features a wide variety of offers and promotions.
