Pilot Travel Center & Casino, located in Fernley, Nevada, consists of a gaming center as well as offering a myriad of other conveniences and services. Pilot Travel Centers exist predominantly as truck stops, but the services offered can be beneficial for anyone travelling a long distance, or even for locals, as they operate gas stations that have unleaded as well as diesel fuel. In addition to the casino, this location has a CAT scale, which is useful to truckers, they offer check cashing and money orders, have a FedEx drop box, P.O. Box service, UPS, wireless internet access and have seven showers. They are also an authorized Western Union location. In addition to these services and the casino, this location also has two restaurants on the premises.

Gaming

The Pilot Travel Center & Casino is home to about fifty of the latest slot machines combined with video keno and video poker offerings. No open containers are allowed on the premises, so you won't find any alcohol service here, but it's still an excellent place to fuel up and briefly escape the rigors of long-distance driving, whether you are a professional or just out touring around. Given the significant traffic this location gets, even with the limited number of machines, it does a pretty good job staying on top of having, at least, new-ish ones in there.

Hotel/Accommodations

Unfortunately, the Pilot Travel Center & Casino has no hotel on the premises, however, there are a couple of independent hotels in Fernley, such as the Lazy Inn, a few franchise hotel chains, consisting of Best Western, Super 8 and Comfort Suites, as well as an RV Park in town, if that's your method of travel.

Dining

In addition to the full deli in the establishment and the convenience store, there are two very familiar restaurants located on the property. The first of these restaurants is the well-known ice cream and Fast Food chain Dairy Queen, which is open from 9a-9p, except weekends, when it stays open until 10p. The other dining option is another place familiar to most people, and that is a Wendy's Restaurant, which is fortunately open 24/7. These locations (Flying J & Pilot) have great road visibility, so should you be passing through the area in the wee hours of the morning, you won't have to look too hard to get some food.

Entertainment/Nightlife

This functions primarily as a gas station and a truck stop, as such, there is not much in the way of entertainment other than the machines.
