Grand Portage Lodge & Casino

This casino is owned and operated by the Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. It overlooks the Northwoods as well as the aforementioned Lake Superior. The gaming space is made up of 15,000 square feet and contains gaming options such as Slots and Bingo. In addition to the casino, guests will also have access to a fully equipped lodge on site for overnight accommodations. Dining options and a lounge can be found on the property as well.

Hotel Accommodations

The lodge on site features a total of 95 rooms. Both locals and travelers are welcome to stay here to make their visit a more comfortable and worthwhile experience. Standard amenities in each room include internet access, iron/ironing board, hairdryer and other necessities. Guests will also have access to and indoor heated pool and sauna. Both rooms and suites are available. Choosing a suite, for a little extra cash, will give you access to things such as a full living room, personal fireplace and private Jacuzzi. Located adjacent to the casino, there is a 30-slip marina and RV Park as well.

Dining

There is one dining option on site. The Island View Dining Room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are known for offering up Northwoods regional specialties. This includes fresh, local fish dishes and steaks. The restaurant is open 7 days a week for reasonable hours and specials can be found for every day of the week.

Entertainment/Nightlife

When you want to relax a little and take a break from the gaming, have a seat at the Antler’s Lounge. Here, you can enjoy your favorite cocktails in a comfortable, laidback atmosphere. Plus, enjoy happy hour specials.
