If you’re in or around the Chicago area you’re close enough to Hammond, Indiana to get your game on. In fact, many Illinois residents travel over the state line to visit Horseshoe Hammond. This destination does not offer a hotel but don’t let this discourage you. Once the doors open and you feast your eyes on the spacious casino and crystal chandeliers, you’ll be glad you came! One thing to note is that the entire property is accessible to those 21 years of age and older.

Gaming

The casino floor is large at 350,000 square feet and is absolutely beautiful. You can see the effort that was put into every detail from the gorgeous fixtures to the elaborately designed carpeting throughout. Indiana allows smoking; however there are designated smoking areas inside the casino. All gaming is located on one floor. Casino guests will be required to arrange transportation to and from their hotels. Chicago is approximately a 20 minute drive from the casino.

Dining

The dining is top notch as only a Jack Binion’s establishment can do. The Village Square Buffet overlooks Lake Michigan. Large windows let in plenty of light and this is definitely not your average buffet. The choices are endless with entrees from around the world and separate salad and dessert stations. For something a bit more upscale, indulge in a meal at Jack Binion’s Steak House. Benny’s Pub & Eatery and JB’s Gourmet Sandwiches and Salads serve a variety of casual bites.

Entertainment/Nightlife

Friday nights in Push heat up with the musical styling of DJ Squeeze. This venue has such a great atmosphere that several NBA and NFL superstars have been known to make an appearance.
