Casino Valle Verde

Casino Valle Verde is a limited restaurant, bar, casino and sports book locate in Henderson, Nevada and is owned and operated by Ellis Island Casino & Brewery. Prior to being purchased by Ellis Island, this establishment was known either as Thirstbusters or Thirstbusters Casino. This property proudly features some of Ellis Island's brews which have consistently been voted among the best, if not the best, in the State of Nevada. In fact, there are many visitors to Nevada who will stop by one of their three locations (Village Pub & Poker is the other) just to try out the famous root beer. This property is in a mostly residential-type area and is situated a few thousand feet NE of the Wildhorse Golf Club and is less than two miles from Sunset Station Casino. It is also surrounded by a myriad of other restaurants and shopping locations within a short distance, so while it is mostly a locals haunt, it's a nice place to stop in if you want to get to know Henderson, NV.

Gaming

The Casino Valle Verde features about eighty of the hottest slot, video poker and video keno machines. These machines offer a wide variety of games as well as denominations and are sure to feature something that every machine player should enjoy. This casino is also home to a William Hill Sports Book location with nine HDTV's in the book area and nine scattered throughout the main casino and bar area.

Hotel/Accommodations

Unfortunately, the Casino Valle Verde does not operate a hotel, however, there is a nearby casino/hotel which is the Sunset Station, located less than two miles away. If you want to stay within the same ownership, then you could choose the Super 8 at Ellis Island Casino, but that's 8-10 miles away, just off the Strip.

Dining

At one time, this casino featured a restaurant and while it no longer has a restaurant, per se, it does offer a, "Bar menu," which is available around the clock as the property still retained its full kitchen. While a bar menu can be roughly translated to, "Glorified snacks," at least you don't have to leave to get a quick bite.

Entertainment/Nightlife

There's no nightlife of note at this location, itself, but it is within two miles of Sunset Station Casino. It's in a mostly residential area, but there is some shopping and quite a bit of choices to eat just NW on East Sunset Road. If you're in the mood to bowl, Wildfire Lanes is also just a few hundred feet NW.
