My Casino

My Casino operated for many years as Charlie Holder's Casino Restaurant & Bar, but changed hands and names a few years back. It became the Mystic Lodge Casino prior to its current moniker, but that was short-lived. This casino is something of the flagship property for the brand with the rest of the gambling parlors owned by the same entity (Nine Vegas locations) partnered with and located in Dollar General Market stores. There is only one actual casino that goes by this name, as the parlors are referred to as, "My Gaming Room," though the Player's Club is connected across all properties. This casino is known not only for being one of the newest in the Henderson area, but it is also known as being a location that really stands out in terms of community involvement. This establishment, in the past, has participated in a number of antique and custom car shows to raise money for charity. More importantly, though, this casino is known for having an annual Toy Drive and Toy Run with Santa by which donated toys are handed out to students of the Robert Taylor Elementary School. This casino is almost immediately recognizable as being a single-story structure with a brick front-center and being surrounded by palm tress and other lush vegetation. This place is recognizable with the word, "MY," appearing at the top of the structure in large red cursive with the word, "Casino," in bold underneath and slightly understated.

Gaming

At the time it operated as Charlie Holder's, this casino had two table games which were both Blackjack. Unfortunately, this casino has no table games. On the (VERY) bright side, My Casino features nothing short of an astounding set of 157 slot, video poker and video keno machines. While one may be concerned about the limited machine count, this establishment is always on top of swapping older slot machines out with new ones and features the hottest and most popular new slots, such as Buffalo. In addition to MegaBucks and Wheel of Fortune Progressives, this casino also has four U1 units which are the absolute newest and most state-of-the-art machines featuring and unbelievably wide selection of games...to be blunt, each machine has more games than some smaller casinos have machines. The most intriguing fact about U1 machines is that they allow for an extremely wide variety of bet levels (from $0.05-$100) and the House Edge is directly indexed to how much the player is betting on every single game. While they may sound like an easy way to put it to the small-time better, we can assure you here at LCB, that even the games at the lowest denominations have comparable returns to most other Keno or Slot games you'll find on any other machine. More than anything, these machines just directly benefit people betting more whereas most machines have unchanging paytables, regardless of bet size. Simply put, these machines are awesome. And, while they are spreading, they can still be somewhat hard to find in most areas. This casino also features a William Hill Sports Book and no fewer than 10 big screen HDTV's for your sports-viewing pleasure.

Hotel/Accommodations

My Casino does not operate a hotel, however, there are a number of casino-hotels in the Henderson area. Green Valley Ranch (7 mi) is one example. When planning your visit, please keep in mind that this properly is deeply embedded in a local area of Henderson, NV, so most, if not all, hotels will be 5+ miles from this property.

Dining

My Casino features Kenny's Café & Deli which is open daily from 7:00a-9:00p with a Tues-Sat limited late-night menu from 9:00p-3:00a. The casino also features a buffet, operating during Kenny's full-service hours, and is known to have a different theme each month. For this month's theme, simply give them a call!

Entertainment/Nightlife

This location is not known to have any entertainment besides the casino itself and the restaurant. Again, this casino is deeply embedded in a residential area of Las Vegas, far secluded from the glitz and glamour of greater Las Vegas.

Rewards/Deals

My Casino features, "The Rewards Club," which has been known for sending members free play and coupons depending on their tier status. This casino has also been known to have free slot and video poker tournaments for certain tier status members. The one thing that I cannot stand about most casinos is that, as a new (or existing) player, many casinos operate in semi-annual or annual players club cycles that are often a couple months behind. For instance, a player might have enough slot points or coin-in at XYZ casino to achieve GOLD status...as of May...and not get their GOLD card (and associated perks) until August. I'm not going to point any fingers, but I am speaking from personal experience, here. This casino is totally different: One interesting facet of this players club is that the tier statuses are based upon a monthly, rather than semi-annual or annual cycle. This is beneficial because the casino has been known to be very upfront with what you have to do to earn enough points for the desired tier status that month, and you will receive your just rewards the following month! No waiting for upgrades, debating with Player's Club Reps, or having to ask your host to pull some strings...gamble in May, get your associated rewards in June!!!
