Formerly known as Barbary Coast Hotel and Casino, Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloon is located on the Las Vegas strip. It initially opened in 1979 as Barbary Coast and has since been acquired by Harrah's Entertainment and renamed as of 2007. The casino has changed hands from Coast Casinos Inc. to Boyd Gaming and finally to Harrah's. The name change was dedicated to Harrah's founder, Bill Harrah. As part of the Harrah's group, Bill's Gamblin Hall & Saloon features quality gaming, fine dining, entertainment and a top notch VIP program.

Gaming

Bill's has upwards of 440 machines including slots, video poker and video keno. Put your boots up in the Casino Pit as you play all your favorite casino games. There are 8 table games are blackjack, craps, roulette, big six, three-card poker, Fortune Pai Gow poker and Texas Hold 'em. They also feature the unique Rapid Craps game. What makes this version so special is that players can experience the live action excitement of craps with 20 touchscreen terminals at the table. If poker is your game then Bill's Poker Room will fit the bill with several daily tournaments running from 11:30am to 2:30am. For the players that still crave more gamblin' action, Bill's also offers race and sportsbook featuring daily lines and a variety of bet types on all the top sporting events from boxing to NASCAR. The race and sportsbook area has 40 big screen televisions and two small 6x6 screens for viewing.

Hotel/Accommodations

If you'd like to relax and stay a while, Bill's has hotel accommodations right on site. Choose from three room categories all including a TV and pay-per-view, internet access (for a small charge), voicemail and electronic checkout. The Classic room is 400 square feet with a Victorian theme. Choose either a king sized bed or two queens. The next step up is the Deluxe, also a 400 square foot room with Victorian décor. This room gives guests a partial view of the strip. The top of the line is the 400 square foot Luxury room with a full view of the Las Vegas Strip.

Dining

Bill's houses one restaurant onsite called the Victorian Café. Meals are served 24/7 at reasonable prices. Victorian Café has specials on meals throughout the day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Entertainment/Nightlife

When it comes to entertainment, Bill's has three places to hang your hat. Bill's lounge is a place to kick back, relax, have a cocktail and watch the nightly live entertainment. Bill's Lounge also hosts Karaoke Sunday through Wednesday evenings. The featured entertainer is Cook E. Jarr who has been a fixture on the strip since the 1980's. See him and his backup band on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Dari's After Hours is a nightclub inside Bill's. They offer a fine selection of champagne, wine and even cigars. Of course there'll be music, excitement and even a DJ. Drai's is open Thursday through Sunday. Guests should contact them for reservations. If you're in the mood for a unique cocktail, Slush Bar has a menu of more than 20 drink selections. Beer Pong anyone? The Slush Bar has several beer pong tables to bring out the college kid in us all.

Rewards/Deals

Nobody does rewards like Harrah's. The Diamond Card is the highest honor in Bill's Players Club. Not only will you receive the finest treatment at Bill's but also at several other Vegas casinos. Diamond tier status gives members priority service, comps galore, free hotel stays and full access to the amenities such as pools and spas at casinos such as Flamingo Las Vegas and Caesars Las Vegas. To become eligible for the Diamond cards players must earn 11,000 Tier Credits at Bill's during the year. One Tier Credit is earned for every $5 played at the slots or every $10 coin-in on video poker.
