Laughlin River Lodge

The Laughlin River Lodge, formerly the River Palms Laughlin, was purchased by Nevada Restaurant Services Inc. (the corporation that owns the Dotty's locations) with the deal closing in September, 2014. This casino, with a 72,000 square foot gaming floor, underwent extensive renovations are reopened on September 26, 2014. The Laughlin River Lodge features two eateries, including a steakhouse and a casual dining restaurant. The Laughlin River Lodge also features entertainment in the form of a resident singer who performs six nights per week. This Lodge, as the name implies, also features a hotel with newly renovated rooms. For those looking to take a break from the hustle of Vegas and enjoy a comfortable stay along the banks of the picturesque Colorado River, the Laughlin River Lodge is an excellent choice.

Gaming

The Laughlin River Lodge features 450 of the newest slot and video poker games available. In addition to these games are two Video Poker games that pay over 99%, which are NSUD 99.73% Deuces Wild 44 and 99.54% 9/6 Jacks or Better, these games are currently offered at the $1.00 denomination. The Laughlin River Lodge also offers Lodge Bingo which begins at 9:00a.m. and starts new sessions every odd hour, with the last daily session beginning at 9:00p.m. As of November, 2014, the Laughlin River Lodge did not offer Table Games, however, they are operating while they continue to remodel and have indicated that Table Games will be coming in at some point in the future. They are unsure of exactly when, as the overall remodeling process is expected to take a couple more years, but they will be getting tables at some point. In the meantime, the Laughlin River Lodge is offering some of the hottest new slot machines, and the best part is, they've become known for players being able to earn cash while they play as well as qualifying for other promotions.

Hotel/Accommodations

At the time of this writing, renovations were continuing on this 1,000 room hotel, but there are many rooms that have been remodeled already and are available for booking. All rooms include a complimentary snack basket as well as two bottles of water, and while this may come as no surprise, rooms are generally much cheaper in Laughlin than Vegas. There are standard rooms available as well as Riverview Rooms with the latter featuring a breathtaking view of the Colorado River as well as Microwaves, Refrigerators and 55" LED TV's. The Laughlin River Lodge strives to be an excellent choice for value and comfort and works diligently to provide superior customer service to its guests. All rooms are non-smoking.

Dining

There are other eateries potentially in the works during this period of renovations, but the Laughlin River Lodge currently has two operating. The Lodge Steakhouse opens for dinner at 5:00p Sunday-Thursday and features an excellent choice of steak, seafood, wines and drinks. The Laughlin River Lodge also features a name in dining that should be familiar to most Americans, Denny's. This is a casual-dining diner-style franchise with a plethora of locations across the United States.

Entertainment/Nightlife

The Laughlin River Lodge, at the time of this writing, featured a resident singer who performs from 3p-9p six nights a week.
