The 19th Hole Bar & Grill

The 19th Hole Bar & Grill is a casino and restaurant located in the picturesque town of Mesquite, Nevada. This city is a rapidly growing, and mostly a retirement community, which features a great number of casinos and restaurants. It is located on the Nevada/Arizona state line. This single-level structure is almost a perfect representation of a scaled-down casino in that the sections of the establishment are clearly divided and it features a covered pull-in and drop off area. Were it not for the brownish-red roof, from a distance, this establishment would hardly be distinguishable from the surrounding dessert given that the façade itself is also a light brown color only slightly lighter than the surrounding sand. As with most of the venues in Mesquite, visitors can expect a friendly atmosphere with courteous service, a (mainly) subdued ambiance and a variety of locals and passers-through.

Gaming

The 19th Hole is rather limited in its gaming offerings with a total of fifty slots, video poker and video keno machines. This venue features a variety of newer machines as well as a good few video poker/keno machines with older graphics that you'd be hard pressed to find in many other places...Nothing wrong with a classic! The 19th Hole, unfortunately, does not offer any other form of gaming, but if you are a machine enthusiast, or eve a casual player, you're likely to find something you'll enjoy.

Hotel/Accommodations

The 19th Hole does not offer lodging of any kind, however, it is within 2,000 feet of two casino-hotels including Eureka Casino Resort, Virgin River Hotel and Casino and is also within a couple thousand feet of the Best Western Mesquite Inn. Mesquite is generally a very safe community, so the 19th Hole is a perfect stopping point for anyone staying at these hotels that would care to take an evening stroll and get a breath of fresh air.

Dining

The 19th Hole Bar & Grill features a restaurant (as the name implies) that is known for having a surprisingly diverse menu and featuring breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant's posted hours are 7:00a-9:00p, daily, but it occasionally remains open until 10:00p.m. We do feel obligated to report that KTNV News featured an article on its website in August of 2013 related to this eating venue and its less-than-stellar performance on multiple health inspections. Health Department findings included, briefly, expired food (one incident), improper storage, improper handling, improper washing of hands, improper storage temperatures and improper hand washing. We would like to reiterate that this was over a year ago, as of the time of this writing, and that the restaurant is currently operating and (as far as we can tell) is now back in good standing with the health department. It was also noted in the article that the majority of violations were corrected during the time the inspectors were on the premises.

Entertainment/Nightlife

The 19th Hole, as with most smaller venues, does not feature much in the way of entertainment or nightlife. Essentially, this place has the restaurant, the machines, the bartop and a couple of TV's.
