Cannery Casino and Hotel

The Cannery open its doors in January 2003 and is located just minutes from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Nellis Air Force Base. They eventually expanded it and added a movie theater. The property now takes up 28 acres and features a great casino, hotel, entertainment and several dining options. One of the perks is that guests can cash their payroll checks at the casino without any fees. The overall theme is retro with pin-up girls found on the casino sign, on the rewards card and in some of the restaurant options.

Gaming

The casino offers a great selection of Slots with denominations starting at just one penny and up to high limits. Non-smoking players can escape to a smoke free casino parlor. The casino offers a range of Video Poker machines and several Table Games including Blackjack, Pai Gow, Craps, Roulette and more. Table minimums begin as low as $3 and increase up to $1,000. The Race and Sports Book offers great odds on a variety of sports, personal TV’s for punters and even a VIP area. The Cannery Bingo room hosts six sessions each day starting at 11am.

Hotel/Accommodations

There are no resort fees at the Cannery. There are two types of rooms to choose from, Standard Queen Reserve Room and Standard King Reserve Room. The hotel features 24 hour room service, laundry facility, LCD TV, free Wi-Fi and more. Hotel guests may access the pool and Jacuzzi area as well as the fitness center. Hotel check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at noon.

Dining

The property has six restaurants serving dishes from around the world. The main attraction is the Cannery Row Buffet. Buffet hours are as follows: Monday – Thursday 11:00am to 8:00pm Friday - 11:00am to 9:00pm Saturday - 9:00am to 9:00pm Sunday - 9:00am to 8:00pm Stop by Casa Cocina, Victory’s or any of the other restaurants for a meal break.

Entertainment/Nightlife

The nightlife can be experienced in one of three bars and lounges located on the property. Pin-Ups is a bar that features live entertainment and the theme is an ode to post World War II pin-up girls. Other places to stop for a drink are Victory’s Bar & Grill and Casa Cocina.
