Gold N' Silver Inn

"You're only a stranger once," as they say at the Gold N' Silver Inn which is an excellent location in Reno for casual dining and video poker. The establishment should be excellent, as they've had plenty of time to practice with the same ownership since 1962. This is a simple looking establishment, charming, but unsophisticated with its non-descript façade in front lined with newspaper machines, but what you'll find inside is astounding! This is one place that can come to you if you are unable to go there, as they offer both catering and BBQ services, but it's really worth it to stop in regardless of the occasion. Doubt it? This location was featured on the popular show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Far from a dive, though, this location can handle up to 300 people in meeting space and can accommodate groups of anywhere from 10-75 people per group. Catering is available for meetings, and groups of 25 or more can put together a custom buffet.

Gaming

The Gold N' Silver Inn features twenty-five gaming machines consisting mostly of IGT Game King units with Video Poker, Video Blackjack and Video Keno. While this establishment does not have any table games, bingo or sports betting, it is convenient to many of the larger Reno casinos that do have such forms of gambling. While most people expect all of the video poker games at an establishment of this size, particularly one more well known for its restaurant, to be poor, this location features at least one game that pays in excess of 99% with 99.4% Bonus Poker at the quarter denomination.

Hotel/Accommodations

This casino and restaurant does not operate a hotel, however, it is located about two city blocks from the Sands Regency Casino as well as under a mile from the Circus Circus Hotel & Casino, so it is very convenient to casino-hotels.

Dining

The restaurant is easily what this establishment is best known for, open around the clock, the restaurant at the Gold N' Silver Inn features an incredible variety of breakfast foods, steaks and classic American favorites. They also feature a wide variety of Southern-Style Comfort Foods and House Specialties like the Lemonade Pork Chops. The most fascinating aspect of the restaurant is that, as opposed to most restaurants that try a menu this expansive, there is absolutely no compromise in the quality of the meal, whether you are there for breakfast, lunch, dinner or at three-fifteen in the morning!

Entertainment/Nightlife

There's not much in the way of nightlife as both the atmosphere and restaurant are geared towards quiet relaxation, but this establishment is within mere minutes walking of some of the larger Reno casinos, so there should be no problem finding something to do.
