Limelight Card Room

The Limelight Card Room is not your fancy heavily toured location in Sacramento but it does draw the Poker player at heart looking for table action. Mostly occupied by local players, it welcomes newcomers and travelers visiting this spectacular city. The Limelight features multiple Card Games, bar and café. There is no parking available at this location and most customers park across the street. The laid back atmosphere is casual at best.

Gaming

There a total of 7 tables with Hold’em, Lo Ball and Blackjack featured. Tournaments run every Wednesday and Thursday at 6pm. Registering for these Tournaments begin 1 hour before the start. Rebuys during the first four blinds are unlimited. Typical buy-ins are $40 to enter with blind levels every 15 minutes. Hold’em No Limit is offered daily with $60 - $300 buy-ins. Play on Thursdays at 5pm with $200 - $1,000 buy-ins. Blackjack is open daily from 9am to 4am. Lo Ball players can pull up a chair and join the action every Tuesday and Wednesday at noon.

Dining

The Limelight Café is open for lunch and dinner including a weekend breakfast. The full menu features appetizers, salads, sandwiches and pizza for a more causal meal. Entrees include Angus steaks, pasta, lasagna and tortellini. All menu items are reasonably priced.

Entertainment/Nightlife

The Limelight bar is open daily serving up a fully stocked bar of mixed drinks and beer on tap or bottles. Happy hour happens between 4pm and 7pm and 11am to 1pm on Tuesday through Saturday. Sacramento is a delightful tourist destination filled with local attractions and nightlife nearby.
