Silver Springs Nugget

The Silver Springs Nugget is a small casino located in the census-designated place of Silver Springs, Nevada. This casino is located in a fairly basic white building with the only standout feature being the, "Nugget," emblem along with a large (fake) golden nugget overhanging the entryway. As with most casinos of this size, this one is frequented mainly by locals, but you'll occasionally have people passing through the area stop by, mainly for the restaurant. Silver Springs, Nevada is a small unincorporated census-designated place with a population a little over 5,000 as well as a small airport. It is also home to a reservoir, recreation area and Fort Churchill State Historic Park. While there may not be much there, Silver Springs...while perhaps not worth going out of the way...is a charming little town to visit if you are passing through. The locals who frequent this venue tend to have positive demeanors and the service is both prompt and friendly.

Gaming

The Silver Springs Nugget is a bit limited in their gambling options. The entire gaming floor consists of 100 slot, video poker and video keno machines. Due to decent volume from locals, however, the Silver Springs Nugget is able to keep their slot offerings reasonably current. Bartop video poker is also offered. In addition to the machines, there is also a William Hill Sports Book KIosk and a number of HDTV's available for watching the game.

Hotel/Accommodations

Unfortunately, the Silver Springs Nugget does not operate a hotel at this time, however, there are a few hotels in relatively nearby (about 15mi) Fernley, NV including a Super 8, Best Western and Comfort Suites.

Dining

The Silver Springs Nugget has one dining option which is the Nugget Grille. This restaurant serves American food and is open from 7:00a-9:00p, but occasionally will remain open until 10:00p or 11:00p on weekends, depending on traffic.

Entertainment/Nightlife

Unfortunately, aside from the restaurant and the casino itself, not much is offered with respect to entertainment at this location. To be quite honest, it might be difficult to find much in the way of a nightlife in the entire CDP of Silver Springs, quite frankly, there's really not much there aside from the Fort Churchill Recreational Park.

Rewards/Deals

The Silver Springs Nugget does not have a player's club, per se, but it does have a mailing list by which players will usually receive monthly updates on promotions for the following month, and occasionally, some various offers.
